Green Tea

i got a life-changing gift for my birthday. a couple of weeks ago my mom and i were running some errands and stopped in Marktfrau. i'd seen the storefront often and was glad to finally have a chance to stop in. the little shop is full of tea, tea accessories, spices, and some fancy little candies. the friendly proprietress offered us a sample of bancha and i fell in love. when my birthday came around, i was thrilled to receive a tin of bancha and an adorable turquouse tea-for-one set.

i won't be going back to grocery store teabags and i will definitely be returning to Marktfrau to sample more teas.
