candy!

if you ever want to get on Lz's good side, just show up with one or more of these delicious candies:

we purchased a bag of smog balls on impulse and they are a new favorite.  hard, sweet, jawbreaker-like outside that suddenly cracks open to blow your head of with a soft sour center.  very very sour.

strawberry hi-chews are a japanese candy that is the closest thing you will find today to my beloved bonkers candy (although that link says they're bringing bonkers back!  hmmmm.....)  they are a similar size and shape but have a fun texture that gives a satisfying, long lasting chew.  yum.

these are great, but i always end up covered in the sour sugar stuff cuz it flies off when i take a bite. not cute.

sugar-free sour fruit juice candy.  strawberry is the best.  

tiger pops!  so fruity and delicious, and each one tastes slightly different due to the ratio of flavors in the stripes. i also cant help gnawing on the plastic stick for a minute after the candy is gone.

toblerones are silky wonderful milk chocolate with chewy almond nougat pieces.  mmmmmm.
