Fused Glass

Lz and EJ love to play with glass. Mostly, Lz and EJ do glass fusing. Lz and EJ obtain scraps from other glass artists and turn them into pendants, rings, magnets, bottle stoppers, brooches, and more. EJ likes to draw pictures and letters with thin glass stringers, Lz enjoys experimenting with iridescent and dichroic glass. Lz also loves to work with metal, and uses copper wire to handform and hammer pendant bails and other adorable inclusions, like hearts, stars, and spirals. Lz and EJ assemble pieces of brightly colored glass in their home studio and carefully transport them to the big kilns at the Pittsburgh Glass Center for firing. Lz and EJ love to work and learn at the PGC and think Pittsburgh is incredibly lucky to have such a wonderful place. Here is a photo of some of their latest batch of glass.
