fused glass/wire jewelry workshop

EJ and Lz really love the Pittsburgh Glass Center. We were honored to be asked to assist with this class:

NEW! Fused Glass Pendants & Wire Jewelry Making

Price: $200

Pittsburgh Center for the Arts (PCA) and Pittsburgh Glass Center (PGC) come together for a great new collaboration! Make beautiful fused glass pendants, then set them with silver and wire for stunning finished jewelry. The first two sessions will take place at PGC. Learn about cutting glass, kiln properties and composition as you design your own colorful glass pendants. Then go to PCA for the final two sessions, setting your glass cabochons in silver and wire. Class will combine demonstrations with plenty of time for hands-on creativity. Precious metals can be purchased directly from the instructor at the PCA sessions (approx. $30).
